Nice to meet you. I am painter and entrepreneur Richard Schiavo. I have created works of art for as long as I can remember. I believe over the years my art has become a bit more carefully executed. In the portfolio I have assembled, I have mixed earlier art with my later art, hopefully, present a balanced mix of my work. 

You will see that my artistic interest in subjects is far ranging and diverse. Although, it will likely be apparent that my passion is on art which depicts the majesty of all animals’ life. Whatever the subject is, I preferred to focus on it - absent of extraneous and distracting imagery.

My perspective on fine art is based on my love of art museums. I have gained insight from viewing the accomplishments of other artists without the structured approach of art classes. For me, the allure of creating works of art has always been to find my own way.
